So Wednesday night I notice Mable's ear is unbelievably swollen, about 1 1/2 inches thick. Thursday morning her ear is bleeding, I call the vet. By the time we get in the wound is about 3/4 inch long and really nasty stuff is coming out of it. The vet says she'll need to be put out so they can open it up drain it out and figure out what's going on, I can pick her up Friday. I show up this morning to pick her up and can hear her barking her butt off the the back room, yep that's my girl. She had a cyst burst and if she gets another one the ear flap will have to be amputated. We're hoping she's done and in the mean time she's got antibiotics, creams and drops galore, oh and of course the cone :)
