ZOO!

Hani LOVES the zoo so we go on her birthday each year. Well she and I go, our companions vary, this year it was my mom, Janette and baby Sarah. Because it was just her she got spoiledrotten. Cotton candy, carrousel and a train ride, she truly ruled the trip and loved every second of it :)

Hani's 4

On August 17 our tiny girl turned 4! We had her family party on the 14th, on the 17th we took her to the zoo, her favorite place ever.

Her party was a Pinkalicious theme, so all the food was pink, pink, pink! We had grapes, strawberries, pink tinted apples, cherries, pink puppy chow and even fresh squeezed pink lemonade! The treat bags on the other hand were full of green so no one woke up pink :)

Jon read the story to everyone as no one was familiar with the book. Then it was time for cupcakes and of course pink ice cream.

So Excited!

It's officially time to spill the beans, we are having another baby! Our new little friend will be arriving around Feb 9th. Needless to say we are all thrilled!

First Days of School

Tuesday July 26th marked the first day of school,or so we thought. It was the first day for Chloe but upon arriving at the school we discovered we were just meeting Lucy's teacher and her first day was Wednesday. She was disappointed but a trip to Cabella's with my mom made her happy.

Wednesday July 27th, Lucy's first day of school, it didn't go as well as I'd hoped. It started strong, she was super excited and ready for all day school.

On her way from the lunch room to recess she tripped. I got a call she was hurt and wanted me, this is what I arrived to find. She was embarrassed and wanted to come home, a few kisses and a pep talk later and back to recess she went. By the end of the day she was glad she stayed and ready for her first day slurpee.
